700 Hour Law Enforcement Academy To Be Offered Locally

The Livingston County sheriff’s office and the Missouri Sheriffs Association Training Academy have joined together to bring a 1st time opportunity to Chillicothe, Livingston County and surrounding area.

A 700 hour basic law enforcement academy is being offered through the Livingston County Sheriff's Department.  Enrollment is now open.  Financial aid and college credit is also available through Missouri State University.

Chief Deputy, Michael Claypole, will be local training coordinator. Instructors will be various employees of the Livingston County Sheriff’s office, the highway patrol, Livingston County Prosecuting Attorney, Adam Warren, Missouri Sheriffs Training Academy, among others.  The part time academy class begins August 07, 2014 and ends June 05, 2015.
