Trial Date Set For Gene Pattie

A jury trial has been scheduled next year in Mercer County Circuit Court for a Marshall man, 65 year old Gene Pattie, who faces multiple charges in connection with incidents at Mercer last May.

Pattie faces a total of seven felony charges involving his alleged actions against a Mercer couple, Dave and Ginny Neimeyer.

The charges are attempted first degree murder; assault in the first degree; attempted rape; first degree burglary; two counts of armed criminal action; and kidnapping facilitating a felony, inflicting injury and terrorizing.

Court records indicate a jury is to be selected May 12th with the trial beginning the next day, May 13th, at the Courthouse in Princeton.

Gene Pattie Junior was remanded to the custody of the Mercer County Sheriffs’ office. He’s been held in jail since his arrest last May.
