Mercer Girls, East Harrison Boys Earn #1 Seeds At HDC Tournament

The 2013 HDC Conference Basketball Tournament will open this Saturday with two first-round games. All games in the event, running from December 14th through December 21st, will be played at Tri-County High School in Jamesport.

Both the girl's and boy's tournaments will consist of nine teams, meaning a Saturday doubleheader will be needed, with the #8 seeds playing the #9 seeds. Quarterfinals will be played on Monday and Tuesday, December 16th and 17th.

Saturday's games will be the #8 seed Newtown-Harris girls against Tri-County at 2 o'clock, and the #8 seeded Tri-County boys against Gilman City at 3:15.
