Chillicothe Council Approves Fire Department Promotions

The Chillicothe City Council has approved two promotions within the Chillicothe Fire Department.

Les Hinnen was promoted to captain and will be a shift commander. Hinnen holds several specialized certifications and will be responsible for fire truck and ambulance maintenance. He started fulltime with the Chillicothe Fire Department in 1990 as a firefighter and emergency medical technician.

Tracy Bradley was promoted to lieutenant/emergency medical technician. Mrs. Bradley has been employed with the Chillicothe Department more than 15 years, the last 4 ½ years as an engineer and EMT. She's a cardio pulmonary resuscitation teacher for Grand River Technical School and helps with EMT/paramedic classes.

The promotions of Hinnen and Mrs. Bradley were recommended by Chillicothe Fire Chief Darrell Wright.
