NCMC Men Break Losing Streak With Win At Lamoni

The North Central Missouri College men rallied from a five-point deficit with under one minute left to play, in a 95-92 win on Friday night at Graceland University against the Yellowjacket JV.

The rally by the Pirates pushed the game to overtime. Xavier Newson led North Central with 28 points and 9 rebounds, with Jory Woodson adding 22 points, Tyler Peterson 14, and Tyrell Thirkield 13. North Central's men will finish the 2013 portion of their schedule with a road trip to Fulton on Wednesday night to take on the Westminster College JV. That game was recently changed from a home game to an AWAY game for North Central. The home game vs. Westminster has been rescheduled for February 7th at 7 o'clock in the evening. The Pirates improve to 5-6 on the basketball season.
