Special Prosecutor Requested In Ryan Vencill Case

|In Division One of Sullivan County Circuit Court, the prosecution made a special request.|
The prosecution asked for a special prosecutor to be appointed on cases in which 24 year old Ryan Vencill of Trenton is charged with 1st degree assault and 55 year old James Bowe of Humphreys is accused of 3 counts of unlawful possession of a firearm, all in July.
The Missouri Attorney General's office is to serve as the special prosecutor in the Ryan Vencill case. A hearing is January 8th.
Circuit Judge Russell Steele of Adair County is to hear the cases involving Bowe after the defendant asked, in October, for a change of judge and venue.
