Unionville Residents Hurt On Highway 5

Two Unionville residents were hurt in a collision yesterday at Lemons.

One of the drivers, 46 year old Chandra Anderson and a passenger in that same car, 41 year old Timothy Anderson, were taken by private vehicle to Putnam County Memorial Hospital at Unionville. The highway patrol said both had moderate injuries.

The driver of the other car, 47 year old Debra Moss of Unionville, was not reported hurt.

The accident was on Highway 5 at Lemons. The patrol reports the westbound car driven by Ms. Moss did not yield to the southbound car operated by Ms. Anderson.

Both cars were extensively damaged. The patrol reported neither person was wearing a seatbelt.
