Twenty-two year old Cody Ward received minor injuries and refused treatment at the scene. The report says Ward was southbound, early on Tuesday morning, when his car went off the west side of Harrison County Route B and struck an embankment. The car vaulted over East 210th Street and landed on its wheels. The driver exited the vehicle BEFORE it caught fire.

The arrest report from the Highway Patrol said Ward has been accused of Driving While Intoxicated (DWI), no valid operator's license, careless and imprudent driving, and no seat belt.
