NCMC Lady Pirates Fall To Fort Scott, 84-72

The North Central Missouri College women's basketball team came up short in their attempts to grab a four-game winning streak, with a hot-shooting Fort Scott team taking down the Lady Pirates, 84-72 on Saturday afternoon at the Ketcham Community Center in Trenton.

The victory is the third in a row for Fort Scott, going into a Monday night battle with Cottey College. The Greyhounds were led by Malori Gales with 20 points, Denise Levine with 13, and Sierra Shoulders with 12. Fort Scott beat Cottey, 67-66 on Monday night for their FOURTH straight win.

The Lady Pirates received a 20 point afternoon from Kayla Oetterer, with Brooke Parton scoring 17, Lexi Hope 12, and Samone Redditt 10 points. The Lady Pirates are now 3-2 on the season. Saturday's game was broadcast on Hot Country Z 101.7 and www.kgozfm.com.
