Mizzou Adds Los Angeles Shooting Guard To Class of 2014

The University of Missouri, and Head Coach Frank Haith, have officially announced the signing of shooting guard Namon Wright of Pacific Hills High School in Los Angeles, California to a National Letter of Intent to play basketball for the Tigers.

Wright is ranked #60 in the country by Scout.com, and joins four-star forward Jakeenan Gant of Springfield, Georgia as early signees for the Tigers in the Class of 2014. Wright is 6 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs 175 pounds. He choose Missouri over offers from many west coast schools, including hometown teams UCLA and USC.

Last season, Wright helped lead Pacific Hills High School to the California Division IV state championship, averaging 15.6 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per game. His team finished with a record of 29-4. He is the 11th best shooting guard in the country entering his senior season.
