Services Set For Robert And Judith Darby

Funeral arrangements have been announced for the victims of a house fire at Spickard -- the Reverend Robert Darby and his wife Judith Darby.

There will be a celebration of life on Saturday (November 16th) at 1 o'clock in the Spickard R-2 school gym. The funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock on Saturday at the Spickard United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the Spickard Masonic Cemetery. There's no scheduled family visitation. The bodies are at the Slater Funeral Home in Trenton.

Memorial donations may be made to the Spickard United Methodist Church in care of the Slater Funeral Home of Trenton.

Authorities determined smoke inhalation overtook the Darbys when the fire broke out in the pre-dawn hours of Thursday at the 100 year old, Georgian-style,home at Spickard. Darby was 79. Mrs. Darby was 74 years old.
