FFA Members Compete At Gallatin

Eight Trenton FFA members competed at the Area 2 Fall Speaking competition last night in Gallatin.

Each Trenton FFA member placed in the top three in different categories. They advance to district competition next week in Cameron. Contestants, their speech categories and their placement:

Breilly Roy- Soil and Water Conservation, 1st
Rebecca Tate- Young Farmers/Young Farm Wives, 1st
Adam Kirby- Missouri Institute of Cooperatives, 2nd
Sadie Roy- Missouri Cattleman's contest, 2nd
Alexis Hagan- Missouri Sheep Producers, 2nd
Katerina Black- Missouri Pet Breeders, 3rd
Malinda Foster- Missouri Farm Bureau, 3rd
Logan Demsich- Missouri Pork Producers, 3rd

Trenton FFA also host a barn-warming for 7th and 8th grade students Friday night. Pictures will start at 6:30 p.m. with barnwarming to run from 7 to 9 o’clock. Cost to enter is $1 or a canned food item. The High schools’ FFA barn-warming is Saturday night 7:30 to 10:30 in the vo-ag building.
