Repair Work On Bridge East Of Chillicothe Begins Today

Contractors for Canadian Pacific Railroad are to begin work today on a railroad bridge over Highway 36 at the east edge of Chillicothe.

The Missouri Department of Transportation says the work will require lane closures on Highway 36 where it runs under the railroad. 1 lane of Highway 36 is to be open in each direction during the work.

The project is to be done during daylight hours. It's expected to take less than 1 week to complete weather permitting.
