Boil Order Issued For Portions Of Mercer County

Following repairs, maintenance, and painting at the standpipe located at Goshen, the Mercer county public water supply district number one has issued a precautionary boil water advisory for customers west of Princeton.

Affected are rural water customers within the following area: the north border is Highway 136, west of Princeton; the eastern border is the Weldon Fork of the Grand River; the southern border is the Grundy-Mercer county line; and the west border is the Harrison-Mercer county line.

Customers are advised to boil water used for drinking and cooking for three minutes. This precautionary boil advisory will be in effect until Wednesday afternoon unless the public water supply district office in Mercer notifies otherwise.
