North Central says goggles were used to simulate different levels of intoxication. Participants attempted to ride tricycles through an obstacle course while wearing the goggles. Police officers conducted field sobriety tests of students wearing the goggles.

North Central Missouri College thumb bands were distributed to highlight statistical data concerning texting and driving, and to educate college students on the dangers of distracted driving.

North Central Missouri College Instructor, Eddie Koenig, Trenton Police Chief, Tommie Wright, and Trenton police department staff helped facilitate the program.
