Mizzou's Homecoming Game With South Carolina Will Be Played "Under The Lights"

For the first time in 2013 at Faurot Field, Missouri will play a Southeastern Conference game AT NIGHT. The SEC announced on Monday morning that the Tigers homecoming game against the South Carolina Gamecocks on October 26th will kickoff at 6 o'clock.

Broadcast rights for the game were picked up by ESPN, with the network to decide after this week's games whether the showdown between the Gamecocks and Tigers will go on ESPN, or ESPN2. KTTN FM 92.3 will provide local RADIO coverage of the game, with "Tiger Tailgate" beginning coverage from Columbia at 4 o'clock.

There will be a rare THURSDAY night game on next week's SEC slate, with the Kentucky Wildcats traveling to Starkville to battle the Mississippi State Bulldogs at 6:30 on October 24th (on ESPN). CBS, on October 26th, will broadcast the annual border battle between Tennessee and Alabama, with this year's game played in Tuscaloosa at 2:30.
