Milan's only Tri-Rivers Conference first-team selection was senior shortstop Kyley Doak. Doak doubled up on the post-season hardware, earning Class 2, All-District 15 first-team honors as well. Milan's second-team all-conference honoree was freshman catcher Breanna Sawyer. Sawyer was a second-team all-district selection, while infielder Kaylee Michael also was named second-team all-district.

Milan, in district play at Hamilton last week, played well but lost 3-0 on Wednesday night in first-round action against the host Penney Hornets. Penney went on to lose to Brookfield on Saturday in the district championship game.

Brookfield will host District 16 champion LeBlond on Wednesday night at 6 o'clock in the first round of the Class 2 state playoffs.
