Beef Producers Seminar Set For November 21 In Stanberry

|Beef producers are encouraged to attend the 2013 Beef Producers Seminar on Thursday, November 21, at the St. Peter Catholic Church, parish hall in Stanberry.|
Registration begins at 5:00 p.m. with the seminar to start at 6:00. Cost of admission to the event is $20 per person and includes a beef dinner.
Dr. Rob Kallenbach, MU Extension State Forage Specialist and Dr. Justin Sexten, MU Extension State Beef Specialist, are co-presenting on the topic of “Being Resourceful with Available Resources—Feed-Forage-Finances”. Following dinner, Dr. Twig Marston, UNL Extension- District Director will discuss “Bull Buying Basics—How to Find the Man Amongst the Boys”.
Area agriculture businesses and organizations will have booths set up at the meeting for attendees to visit before, during and after the program.
