|The City of Princeton will have a new natural gas supplier. Deputy City Clerk, Danette Snapp, explained natural gas no longer will be available from the current provider, One Oak, so a consultant has recommended natural gas be purchased from Seminole Energy Services of Denver, Colorado.|
It submitted the lowest bid among 3 companies providing quotes. Bill Buss, of Hall Engineering, attended the Princeton City Council meeting Tuesday night and recommended Seminole Energy Services. Buss purchases natural gas for Princeton.
The Princeton City Council has agreed to seek bids for 2 metal hangars at the former Princeton Airport. The buildings would need to be removed from the site, which is rented for cropland. The decision to seek bids came after Deputy City Clerk Snapp said an Osceola, Iowa man attended the City Council meeting to ask whether the Council would be willing to sell hangars at the former airport.
The Princeton Council approved a building permit for Danny Derry to build a storage unit at his subs and ice cream business called Gumps.
