Two Arrested On Drug Charges; Two Violate Probation

Two area residents have been arrested on drug charges, one involving a federal warrant with intent to distribute.

A 48-year old Trenton man, Billy Gott, was arrested Thursday at Trenton on a federal complaint accusing him with possession of more than five grams of methamphetamine with intent to distribute it.

Representatives of the Trenton Police Department, Grundy County Sheriff's Office, and Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms, as well as the explosives task force were involved in the arrest. Gott was being held by federal authorities.

53-year old Wendell Tharp of Spickard has been charged in Grundy county with felony possession of methamphetamine and marijuana Thursday with intent to distribute.

Tharp was being held in the Grundy county detention center In lieu of 100-thousand dollars cash-only bond. He's to Appear Tuesday in associate division of Grundy County Circuit Court.
30-year old Nicole Webster of rural Trenton has been charged in Grundy county with possessing morphine on Wednesday. Ms. Webster was being held in the Grundy County Detention Center in lieu of ten thousand dollars cash only bond. She's to Appear in Associate Division of Grundy County Circuit Court on Tuesday

41-year old Rhonda Boggs of rural Spickard and 20-year old Kay Smith of Trenton have been accused of violating terms of their probation. Each person was being held at the Grundy County Detention Center in lieu of 15-thousand dollars cash only bond.

They're to appear October 17th in division one of Grundy County Circuit Court.
