That was slightly less than last years' 800 doses in the same four hour period.

The health department was assisted by over 100 community volunteers on Tuesday including Wright Memorial Hospital and the nursing program of North Central Missouri College.

Flu vaccine is still available. A clinic is scheduled at the county health department on Tuesday October 8th. The hours are all day, from 9 o'clock until 6 o'clock. Both injectable vaccine and the flu mist nasal spray will be available.

Individuals from Grundy County are asked to take their Medicare, Medicaid, or insurance card for billing purposes. Donations are requested from persons not covered by insurance.
