Trenton Resident Arrested; Another To Face Charges

|A burglary suspect was arrested yesterday in connection with a Monday breakin at a Trenton home.|
20 year old Forrest Lee Shoemaker of 22-10 Bolser in Trenton has been charged with second degree burglary.
He’s accused of unlawfully entering property at 12-14 East 24th, owned by Alex Baker, for the alleged purpose of stealing. Bond is ten thousand dollars.
Shoemaker is scheduled to appear October 8th in the associate division of Grundy county circuit court.
A former resident of Trenton, 50 year old Lester Roy Chase, was arrested at the Moberly Correctional Center and returned to Grundy county to face multiple charges. Chase was arrested on warrants accusing him of failure to appear in court at Trenton. He faces misdemeanor charges of third degree assault and public display of explicit sexual material.
Chase also is charged with felony passing bad checks, no account. The warrant listed numerous bad checks that allegedly had been issued to Trenton businesses in February of last year. Bond for Lester Chase totals 13-thousand, 500 dollars pending his appearance October 8th in the associate division of circuit court.
