Livingston County Sheriff Advises Residents Of Scam

The Livingston County Sheriff's office is advising that residents in Livingston county are getting telephone calls from what appears to be those wanting personal information.

Livingston County residents have been reporting they are receiving calls from unknown people/business basically trying to help them with Medicare and/or Obama care issues. All are similar in the caller wants your banking account information.

Sheriff Steve Cox said "It is safe to say any calls like this are a scam and the caller is attempting to get access to your money. The best thing to do is simply hang up."
