Homecoming Parade Today In Trenton

Trenton High School's homecoming parade is this afternoon.

The route goes from the high school parking lot, north on Normal, west on 17th street, then south on Harris Avenue, east on 9th Street, to Bulldog Avenue, Eastside Park, and back to the high school. The parade begins at 2 o'clock this afternoon.

The grand marshal for the parade is Instructor Rich Griffith.

Also honored is Missouri counselor of the year Kay Moore and Northwest District Principal of the Year Dan Wiebers, both from Trenton High School.

The Homecoming theme is “Friday night lights.”

The football game begins at 7 o'clock tonight. Pre-game activities begin at 6:20 with introduction of royalty who will be escorted across the field.

Homecoming Queen Madison Trump and King Charlie Hoffman, along with members of their court, will be introduced. Performing will be the Trenton high school band and color guard. After the football game, the homecoming dance is scheduled from 9:30 until 11:30.
