Pipeline Worker Found Dead In Moberly

Randolph County Coroner Gerald Luntsford confirmed Tuesday afternoon, September 17, that an out-of-state man died at a Moberly hotel last weekend.

Gary Queen, 49, of Robbinsville, N.C., was pronounced dead, according to the records of the Randolph County Ambulance District, at 8:29 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 15, at the former Holiday Inn Express, located at 1801 W. Outer Road, Moberly.

Luntsford said that he is awaiting the release of a toxicology report before identifying the cause of death.

Queen was staying in Moberly while working on the pipeline project.
