The Chillicothe Police Department says that they recently took a report of an alleged parental kidnapping. Police say a woman reported that her ex-husband had taken their children to Colorado without her permission.

Livingston County Prosecutor Adam Warren, who also is the Chillicothe City Prosecutor, has been given added duties as Grundy County Special Prosecutor. Circuit Judge Jack Peace has appointed the 33-year old Warren to serve as Grundy County's Special Prosecutor until Governor Nixon appoints someone to fill the position.

KTTN/KGOZ News : Body of dead female identified

Identification has been made regarding the body of a white female that was discovered on Friday near the lake at Wallace State Park near Cameron. The Highway Patrol identified the deceased woman as 53-year old Janette Riffle-Hartley of Cameron. Authorities are awaiting autopsy results to help determine the cause of death. The Missouri State Patrol is working with the Clinton County Sheriff's Department on the death investigation.
