Motorists traveling on U.S. Highway 65, just south of Carrollton, will experience a lane closure work zone at the Bowdry Bridge on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week (September 25th and 26th).

The Missouri Department of Transportation has announced that the Chariton County Highway 11 Bridge closure has been set for Monday, August 27th. The Burlington Northern - Santa Fe bridge located five miles north of Mendon was set to close earlier this month, but that was delayed when migratory birds were discovered on the bridge structure.

The Trenton Street Department continues to work on improvements to Iowa Boulevard. The focus, starting tomorrow (Thursday) shifts to shoulder work along the new asphalt overlay.

Motorists in the Gallatin and Hamilton areas will soon encounter lane closures on Highway 13 as crews begin preparing the road for a resurfacing project. Herzog Contracting of St. Joseph will be doing the work.

Missouri Department of Transportation representatives and Caldwell County commissioners are to participate in a ribbon cutting ceremony on Monday, for a bridge over Goose Creek in WESTERN Caldwell County.

Harrison County Route AA in the extreme southern part of the county (between Interstate 35 and Highway 69) will receive "overlay" work on Wednesday and Thursday of this week (June 27th and 28th), weather permitting.

The Missouri Department of Transportation has announced that the Chariton County Highway 11 bridge over the Burlington Northern - Santa Fe railroad north of Mendon will close to traffic on Monday, July 9th.

The Highway Patrol says that they, as of Friday evening, were seeking the location of a King City man involved in a motorcycle crash with a deer on U.S. Highway 136, two miles to the west of Stanberry.

A road in southwestern Daviess County will be closed beginning Monday, June 18th for a bridge replacement. The location is on Route J over Marrowbone Creek, just south of Route D. The bridge is expected to be closed until early August.

Various road projects are planned this week for crews of the Missouri department of transportation. Mowing along U-S Highway 65 is scheduled at various locations this week in Livingston, Grundy, and Mercer Counties. Mowing also is listed along various locations on State Highway 6 in Grundy County this week.

The Missouri Department of Transportation has announced the work on U.S. Highway 169 in Gentry County will continue on Monday (August 27th), weather permitting.

The Missouri Department of Transportation has road work planned in area counties this week, including Grundy County Route W, which will be closed at two different locations for bridge deck repairs. Closed today (Tuesday) is Route W at the Shelburne Bridge over Gee's Creek, involving Route W from Route F, southward to the Livingston County line.

The street overlay project for Iowa Boulevard in Trenton has been rescheduled for (Tuesday) and Wednesday. Street Supervisor Larry Griffin reports a new electric motor has been obtained for the asphalt plant following Monday morning failure of an older motor. That failure prompted Griffin to announce a postponement on the closing of Iowa Boulevard for the overlay project.

Grundy County Route B will have one lane of traffic on Monday and Tuesday of next week (July 16th and 17th) for an overlay project.

Milling work began on Friday morning to prepare Highway 169 for resurfacing in portions of WORTH and GENTRY Counties. Highway 169 will be resurfaced between Grant City and Highway 136 (west of Albany).

The Missouri Department of Transportation has announced that Route V in Carroll County has been scheduled to close on Wednesday and Thursday of THIS week (June 27th and 28th). This location is just southwest of the community of DeWitt and just northwest of the Missouri River.

A section of Highway 46 in northwestern Harrison County (just northwest of Eagleville) will be closed beginning today (Monday) for a bridge replacement project. The bridge is over the West Fork of Big Creek, near Route YY. The closure is to last six to eight weeks.

A five-mile stretch of Highway 36 in DeKalb and Buchanan Counties is to have head-to-head traffic beginning today (Friday) because of work to improve the westbound lanes.

Daviess County Route J is to close on Tuesday, May 29th at the Dog Creek Bridge three miles south of Altamont. It is for a bridge replacement project that is expected to take about six weeks.
