Two Blue Springs residents were injured when a car hit a deer on Interstate 35 in Daviess County on Wednesday night.

At a location two miles west of Novinger on Monday afternoon, the Highway Patrol said 60-year old Charles Downen of Kirksville received MODERATE injuries and was taken to Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville for treatment.

Six people were injured on Saturday afternoon when a car collided with a pickup truck, overturning both vehicles on a rural road northwest of Bethany.

The Highway Patrol said a Gladstone man had a medical issue, which contributed to the car he was driving going off Interstate 35 south of Bethany and hitting two road signs and several trees. Seventy-four year old William Durham was taken to Harrison County Community Hospital in Bethany, with what the Patrol called MODERATE injuries.

A Cameron man received what the Highway Patrol called moderate injuries on Wednesday afternoon when his truck ran off U-S Highway 69 and struck an embankment.

A Milan resident was hurt late Saturday afternoon when the car she was driving overturned off Highway 6 west of Green City. The Highway Patrol said 37-year old Julie Howe of Milan received SERIOUS injuries, and was taken to Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville.

A Cameron woman was taken to Heartland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph on Friday evening, after her involvement in a two-vehicle accident on Interstate 29 in Buchanan County, one mile south of U.S. Highway 169.

A teenage girl from Altamont was injured early today when, according to the Highway Patrol, her car traveled off U-S Highway 69, struck an embankment, and overturned onto its top.

An Humphreys resident received what the highway patrol called minor injuries in a single vehicle accident yesterday morning two miles east of Tindall.

The Highway Patrol said two Pattonsburg residents were injured when the driver of a car fell asleep, and the car went off Interstate 35 and hit a tree stump north of the Winston exit.

Sixty-one year old Brenda Walter of Green Castle was taken by private vehicle to Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, with injuries described as MODERATE by the Highway Patrol.

The Missouri Highway Patrol says an "injury accident" occurred on Monday morning nearly two miles east of Cameron, but the extent of injuries for the occupants was not provided to the news media.

Separate injury accidents occurred in and near Braymer about one hour apart yesterday (Thursday) afternoon. The Highway Patrol said two vehicles collided at 6th and Main streets in Braymer, sending one of the drivers, Courtney Cox of Braymer to Liberty Hospital. The patrol described her injuries as MODERATE.

An Iowa woman was hurt north of Grant City when the car she was driving traveled off Highway 169, hit a field entrance, went airborne, and overturned. Forty-six year old Sonia Lambson of Blockton, Iowa was taken to Northwest Medical Center in Albany. The Highway Patrol said she had SERIOUS injuries.

One Brookfield man was hurt when, authorities said, he fell from a moving truck last night on Highway 11 in Linn County.

The collision of two pickup trucks on Highway 5 in Linneus on Friday afternoon resulted in injuries to 39-year old Russell Falconer of Purdin and 16-year old Paige Young of Linneus.

A Marceline man, 54-year old Andy Miller, was injured on Friday night when the horse-drawn carriage he was operating was hit from behind by a vehicle driven by 32-year old Henry Pennington of Independence, Kansas.

Drivers of two vehicles received minor injuries in a Highway 6 accident in Daviess County last night. The Highway Patrol said 19 year old Brandon Curtis of Gallatin was taken to Liberty Hospital while 33 year old Sandra Smith of St. Joseph went to Heartland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph.

A Chillicothe resident was injured early today when, according to the Highway Patrol, his car went out of control and off a rural Livingston county road.

A man from Shawnee, Kansas was injured in Caldwell County when the westbound SUV he was driving was hit in the rear on Highway 36, crossed the median and the eastbound lanes, and overturned. Fifty-three year old Mark Specklin was taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center with injuries described as minor by the Highway Patrol.
