A 36-year old Dawn man, David Hughes, has been accused of Second Degree Assault, armed criminal action, and unlawful use of a weapon in connection with shots being fired last Wednesday night (September 5th) in Dawn.

Just before midnight, Livingston County received a 9-1-1 call from a Dawn resident about a shooting that had just taken place in Dawn. A deputy (Chris Mueller) and a Highway Patrol Trooper responded along with Chillicothe Department of Emergency Services.

Automobile Accidents : Multiple accidents injure eight across northwest Missouri

Attorney General Chris Koster announced on Monday that "The Conversion Doctor" and its owner, Eric Graham of Gallatin, will pay over $37,000 ($37,829) to settle allegations that it sold business improvement products to consumers but failed to provide the products.

The Trenton Middle School softball team won the Hamilton Tournament played on Saturday. The girls defeated Gallatin 7-1, Cameron 16-1, and beat the host team, the Hamilton Lady Hornets, 6-5 for the championship. Ashten Whitaker was the winning pitcher in all three games.

A 37 year old man has been charged in Livingston County with second degree assault and possession of controlled substances following incidents at an area cemetery. Donald Walker is being held in custody on $50,000 cash bond. The Livingston County Sheriff's Department said other charges may be pending.
