The American Legion Post 25 Cardinals, on Wednesday night, beat Millhouse by a score of 4-1. Post 25 scored four runs in the bottom of the fifth to take the lead. Millhouse scored in the top of the seventh for their only run in the game.

The featured speaker for next week’s awards banquet of the Lions All-Stars Basketball Classic is no stranger to the basketball court or to the Lions organization. Cori Elms graduated from Cameron High School in 1993 and that same year, she was selected to play in the Lions All-Star Basketball Classic. She not only played in that game, but her two free throws were the deciding factor in her team’s victory.

Taken to Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville with MODERATE injuries was 45 year old Charlotte Cain of Unionville. The driver of the second vehicle, 52 year old Cheryl Ridinger of Worthington refused treatment at the scene.
