A woman has been sentenced in federal court for real estate fraud in the Kansas City area. Thirty-three year old Angela Allen of Mooresville was sentenced to 10 months in federal prison without parole. On October 18, 2011, Mrs. Allen pleaded guilty to wire fraud in the attempted purchase of a home, as charged in a Sept. 30, 2010, indictment.

Sixty-eight year old Judy Person was taken by ambulance to Cameron Regional Medical Center. Fifty-three year old Debra Whiteaker was taken by private vehicle to her doctor's office.

A Galt resident received what the Highway Patrol called minor injuries when a car hit the rear of a van in Milan on Tuesday morning. Forty-four year old Linda Dillon of Galt was to seek medical attention on her own. She was the driver of the car.

Three people were taken to Wright Memorial Hospital while a fourth declined transportation following an accident yesterday afternoon at 9th and Laclede. Each of the four has a Trenton address.

The Trenton Lady Bulldogs won a varsity/junior varsity tennis competition at Chillicothe High School against the host Lady Hornets on Wednesday afternoon. Trenton's varsity won six matches to Chillicothe's three, while the Lady Bulldogs JV beat Chillicothe 5 matches to 2.

A King City man will be challenging incumbent State Representative Casey Guernsey for his second district Missouri house seat. The Secretary of State has certified enough valid signatures on a citizen's petition to allow Jim Nash of rural King City to be an INDEPENDENT candidate in the November 6th election.
