Three Marceline residents, in their 80's, were injured when an SUV overturned south of Marceline late Sunday morning. A passenger, 82-year old Leona Payne, received what the Highway Patrol called MODERATE injuries. The Patrol said the driver, 84-year old Eva Anderson, and another passenger, 87-year old Eva Beckstead had minor injuries.

A Marceline resident was injured on Thursday morning when the SUV she was driving went out of control on ice-covered Highway 5, and hit a tree north of Marceline.

Two cars, that collided at a Trenton intersection, left six persons with various injuries. It happened at 28th street and U-S Highway 65 Monday afternoon.

The Highway Patrol says a Norborne resident was hurt early Saturday night in southwestern Carroll County after failing to yield. Sixteen-year old Cody Wiesz of Norborne was taken to Ray County Memorial Hospital in Richmond, with what the Highway Patrol described as MODERATE injuries.

An Illinois truck driver was injured early Thursday evening when, according to the Highway Patrol, his large truck ran off U.S. 36 in southern DeKalb County, struck three highway signs and a culvert, and overturned onto its side.

The Missouri Highway Patrol says that a 16-year old boy, Allen Neighbors of Unionville, received MODERATE injuries when his westbound car swerved to miss a deer on Wednesday night, and ran off U.S. Highway 136.

A Tina resident received what the Highway Patrol called SERIOUS injuries on Wednesday morning when the car she was driving overturned off U.S. Highway 65. Sixty-year old Barbara Mattox of Tina was flown by medical helicopter to Liberty Hospital.

A non-injury traffic accident on southbound Interstate 35 near the Winston exit resulted in southbound lanes of the interstate being closed for nearly five hours on Saturday morning. The accident involved a tractor-trailer unit and a van. The tractor-trailer unit was carrying batteries.

Two men from St. Joseph were injured late Wednesday afternoon in a traffic accident three miles west of Gallatin. The Highway Patrol said that the men, 27-year old Teklit Weldeabzgi and 30-year old Tedla Tesfameskel, suffered SERIOUS injuries and were flown by medical helicopter to Truman Medical Center in Kansas City.

An Humphreys man was hurt shortly after midnight on Saturday night when the minivan he was driving slid through a T-intersection in dense fog east of Trenton. Sixty-five year old Robert Spencer of Humphreys was taken to Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton, with what the Highway Patrol called minor injuries.

A Browning resident was injured in a Christmas DAY accident five miles west of Meadville. The Highway Patrol described injuries as SERIOUS for 45 year old Ernesto Constantino-Meza of Browning. He was taken by medical helicopter to Heartland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph.

Two residents of Ludlow were injured in an accident yesterday in Livingston County that involved their pickup and two tractor trailers. Taken to Hedrick Medical Center of Chillicothe were 21 year old Shawn Schuyler with minor injuries and 23 year old Samantha Schuyler with MODERATE injuries.

A Unionville woman, 33-year old Angela Munden, was injured this (Monday) morning when, according to the Highway Patrol, her car went off U.S. Highway 136 twice and overturned onto its top.

Two Milan brothers were hurt north of Milan when, according to the Highway Patrol, a sport utility vehicle was hit in the rear by by a pickup truck. The driver of the pickup, 17-year old Marcus Harrison, and a passenger, 14-year old Michael Harrison, were taken to Sullivan County Memorial Hospital. The Patrol said they had minor injuries.

On Interstate 35 north of Eagleville on Wednesday night, 21-year old Jayson Newlin of Kansas City suffered 'minor' injuries and was taken by ambulance to Harrison County Community Hospital in Bethany, after crashing his SUV in the northbound lanes.

A Bucklin resident was hurt, when according to the Highway Patrol, she swerved her car to miss an animal in the road, and the vehicle went into a ditch. Sixty-three year old Joyce Herriman of Bucklin was taken to Pershing Memorial Hospital in Brookfield, with injuries described as minor.

A Stewartsville man was taken to a St. Joseph hospital hours after an accident in rural Clinton County on Saturday night. The Highway Patrol says the accident (at 9:50 PM Saturday) occurred three miles southwest of Stewartsville on Keller Road.

The Highway Patrol says two Stewartsville residents were SERIOUSLY injured when a car overturned off Highway 36 west of Cameron early on Saturday night. The driver, 24-year old Kacy Teeter, and a passenger, 26-year old Jacob Bennett, both of Stewartsville, were taken to Heartland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph.

Trenton, Green Castle, and Carrollton residents have been injured in separate traffic accidents over the past twenty-four hours.

A Gallatin resident was injured when the car she was driving went off Daviess County Route DD and hit two embankments. Thirty-four year old Stacey Collins of Gallatin was taken by private vehicle to Cameron Regional Medical Center with what the Highway Patrol called minor injuries.
