A young Chillicothe boy was injured when, according to the Highway Patrol, the motorcycle he was driving went out of control in a mud hole on private property and the youth was thrown off. Injuries were described as MODERATE for seven year-old Lane Sampsel of Chillicothe. He was taken by ambulance to Hedrick Medical Center.

Chillicothe FFA members, as a fundraiser for their chapter, are available to do various jobs at home and farms. People with any type of job are being asked to contact a Chillicothe FFA member, or one of the advisors at the Litton Agriculture Campus. Teams will be organized to do the work. The Chillicothe High School class averaging the most money raised, per member, will have its barnwarming candidates crowned king and queen.

KTTN/KGOZ News : Missing Brookfield man found safe in western Illinois

A missing 78-year old Brookfield man was located safe around 12 noon on Sunday in Hartford, Illinois, which is just north of St. Louis. Hartford Police said Francis Moseley stopped at a gas station, went inside the building, told people he was lost, and asked for directions. A police spokesman said Moseley seemed a little disoriented. Although people at the gas station did not know Moseley was missing, police were contacted.

A Chillicothe area community choir is being organized to perform Christmas music on December 16th. Adult and high school singers from around the area are being encouraged to participate. The program is the afternoon of December 16th at 3 o'clock at the Gary Dickinson Performing Arts Center. It is part of the Chillicothe Area Art Council's season.
