Accidents : Green Castle man injured in accident near Milan

An accident one mile south of Milan has injured 33-year old Vincent Miller of Green Castle. The Highway Patrol described Miller's injuries as minor. He was taken to Sullivan County Memorial Hospital in Milan for treatment.

Road Work : I-35 work begins between Winston and Pattonsburg

Multi-week road projects were scheduled to begin on Wednesday across the area. That includes Interstate 35 in Daviess County, between Winston and Pattonsburg. MoDOT said crews will be cutting large holes in the concrete and pouring new concrete in those areas.

Circuit Judge Jack Peace has appointed the 33-year old Warren to serve as Grundy County's Special Prosecutor until Governor Nixon appoints someone to fill the position.
