Livingston County Sheriff Steve Cox reports an arrest has been made stemming from investigations into an alleged felony assault with a weapon, kidnapping, and endangering the welfare of a child. The incident began in another county, and led through Carroll into Livingston County.

The Livingston County Sheriff's Department has received information about a specific Facebook profile where a person is claiming to be an adult, with the last name "Crawford", and living in an 'unknown location'. Sheriff Steve Cox said that profile has been in contact with numerous young people, who are also on Facebook.
