Playing against tough competition from the Jayhawk Community College Conference in Kansas last week, the North Central Missouri College women lost three games in a row, while the Pirate men lost twice (at Allen County and against nationally-ranked Barton County). On Tuesday night, in Lamoni, Iowa, NCMC was able to get back into the win column. |

A 9-0 regular season finish and a second consecutive Tri-Rivers Conference championship have helped the Milan Wildcats into strong representation in the All-Northeast Missouri all-district football team announced by the Missouri Broadcasters and Sportswriters Association. The Trenton Middle School 'A' basketball teams claimed a pair of victories on Monday night against the South Harrison Bulldogs, in games played at the TMS gymnasium. Behind a 15 point, 14 rebound performance by Whitley Richman, the girls took a 30-6 win, moving to 5-2 on the season. The boys had 10 points and 8 rebounds from Spencer Harris in a 34-18 win, also improving to 5-2 on the campaign. |

The North Harrison Shamrocks opened HDC Conference play on Tuesday night with a girl's and boy's varsity basketball win over the visiting Grundy R-5 Panthers. In the girls game, North Harrison defeated the Lady Panthers by a final score of 47-27. |

The Trenton High School wrestling team defeated Gallatin 48-36 but lost to South Harrison 29-28 on Tuesday night, as part of a very competitive triangular between the three rival schools at Gallatin High School. South Harrison claimed the overall victory with a head-to-head team win over Gallatin by a final of 46-30. Click on 'read more' to see Trenton results from Tuesday night. |

The Trenton Bulldogs swept a basketball doubleheader on Tuesday night against the Princeton Tigers, controlling both games throughout and getting 'running clock's' by the fourth quarter, with the Trenton girls cruising to a 73-21 win, with the boys taking a 66-29 victory. |

The North Central Missouri College basketball teams continue to struggle on the road in the state of Kansas, losing a pair of games on Friday afternoon at the Highland Classic, with the men falling to Barton County by a final of 83-51, while the Lady Pirates fell to the host Highland Scotties by a final score of 70-51. |

The North Central Missouri College basketball teams had rematch games with the Red Devils of Allen County Community College on Wednesday night, with the results the same as the first meetings between the squads in Trenton, Allen County victories over the Pirate teams. |

The Trenton freshman boy's basketball team picked up a road win on Monday night, going to Unionville and downing the host Putnam County Midgets by a score of 36-27. Brice Dillon had 17 points and Kail McCarter 14 for the freshmen Bulldogs, who next play at Chilliocothe on Tuesday night, December 4th at 6 o'clock. |
