A resident of Lucerne has been injured in an accident in the Lemons community of southern Putnam County. The Patrol said 72 year old Harvey Pauley of Lucerne was taken to Mercy Hospital in Centerville, Iowa, with minor injuries.
A Maryville resident was killed and another Maryville resident had what the Highway Patrol described as serious injuries, afer a sport utility vehicle went off Highway 71 in Nodaway County, became airborne, and overturned----coming to rest on its top.
A resident of Stewartsville was injured Monday morning when her vehicle, according to the Highway Patrol, struck the right rear tandem axle of a truck. The accident was on U-S 36, at the east junction with Highway 33, one mile north of Osborn.
