Alyssa Forster pitched the first four innings for Milan before being replaced on a hot night by Kyley Doak, who picked up the win after Bianca Caponetto cracked a game-winning double in the bottom of the fifth inning.

The Grundy R-5 boys were locked in a competitive game with the Jefferson Eagles when electrical difficulties at the Galt Ball Field led to the suspension of the game in the third inning, with the visitors from Conception Junction leading 3-2.
