KTTN/KGOZ News : Four-wheeler accident injures two from Spickard

Two Spickard residents were flown by medical helicopter to Kansas City following a four-wheeler accident on Saturday night (August 11th) near Spickard. The Highway Patrol says that 47-year old Robert Blozvich Junior and Sue Thrasher (age unavailable) both received SERIOUS injuries, and were flown to St. Luke's Hospital.

At this week's Board of Aldermen meeting in Gallatin, Mayor Barb Ballew recommended, and the aldermen approved, the removal of Terri Wright and Mike Butcher from the Gallatin Park Board. Carrie Holcomb was re-appointed to serve on the Park Board for a three-year term.

Automobile Accidents : Mid-week accident injures Brookfield woman

A Brookfield woman received 'minor' injuries on Wednesday afternoon in an accident six miles southeast of Brookfield. The Highway Patrol said 30-year old Jessica Baker was taken to Pershing Memorial Hospital. She was southbound on Jade Drive when her car ran into the ditch, resulting in extensive damage to the automobile.

The Trenton R-9 Board of Education has agreed to make a conditional payment to the city for use of portable bleachers, adopted a lower school tax levy, and heard about some changes as a result of Missouri's waiver from the federal law known as
“No Child Left Behind”. The graduation date for Trenton High School's Class of 2013 also was set.

KTTN/KGOZ News : Livingston County authorities continue to deal with attempted jail escapes

Authorities in Livingston County are investigating an alleged attempt to escape from the jail in Chillicothe this week. On Sunday night, Sheriff Steve Cox says a male detainee "bolted" out of the cell area and down a hallway as a detention officer was about to lock down other detainees in that cell block. Locked security doors prevented the man from exiting that part of the building.
