30 year old Timothy Hamilton is now charged with assault in the second degree on a law enforcement officer. The charge is a felony. Bond was set at 15 thousand dollars with Hamilton to appear September 24th in the associate division of circuit court.

The warrant accuses Hamilton of attempting to cause physical injury to detention officer Cody Reeder on August 11th by allegedly shoving him into the door jamb of the holding cell and continuing to physically fight with him.

Hamilton had been arrested at that time on a misdemeanor charge of misusing the 9-1-1 emergency phone service.

Specifically, Hamilton is accused of repeatedly calling 9-1-1 August 10th when there wasn't an emergency; then disregarding information from the dispatcher that 9-1-1 is only to be called for actual emergencies. A hearing on this case is scheduled October 8th in the associate division.

A St. Joseph woman, 42 year old Lori Lee Gutierrez, is charged with forgery in Grundy county. Bond is ten thousand dollars with the defendant scheduled to appear in associate division of the circuit court September 24th.

Ms. Gutierrez is accused of forging another persons' signature on six personal checks, written on a Marshall bank, with a total value of 38-hundred 17 dollars.
