Sports : Princeton Softball Beats Albany, Prepares For Gallatin Tests

The Princeton Lady Tigers beat Albany on Tuesday night by a score of 8-3, with Chelsie Jones striking out 16 Lady Warriors.

Offensive stats for PHS in the game (provided by Coach Mayfield) were:

Paige Phillips: 2 runs, 2 singles, 2SB, 1 RBI
Rachelle Parks: 1 run, 3 RBI
Shaylee Henley 1 walk, 1 SB 1 assist
Ashton Summers: 1 run,1 walk 13 put outs
Trinity Kile: 1 run, 1 walk, 1 po, 1assist
Kelsey Batson: 1run, 1 single, 1 double, 1walk, 1 RBI
Kianna Kinnison: 1 double, 1 RBI
Darcee Schwartzopf: 1 run
Maddie Enright: 1 run, 1 single, 2 RBI
Chelsie Jones: 1 walk, 1 put out

The Lady Tigers will HOST Gallatin on Thursday night at 5:30 in the home opener for PHS. Princeton then will play three games on Saturday in the Albany Tournament, starting with Gallatin at 10:30 in the morning.
