News : Firefighters Collect For Muscular Dystrophy

Firefighters and Fire Explorers collected more than one thousand dollars ($1,027.32) for the Muscular Dystrophy Association over the Labor Day weekend.

Volunteers contributed a total of 12 hours by conducting a Boot drive at selected intersections in Trenton. The fire department extends a special thanks to everyone who donated and to those who assisted with the collection. Lieutenant Jeremy Summers and ten other persons participated in the annual boot drive collection.

The Trenton Fire Department is once again taking applications for Reserve Firefighters.
Applications can be picked up at the Trenton Fire Department at 17th and Harris. They are to be turned in by Friday September 13th by 5 pm. Testing is Saturday September 14th at 8 am. The testing will be in the Training Room downstairs of the Fire Department. It includes a written exam, a candidate physical ability test and an interview with Fire Department Officers and the Fire Chief.
