Trenton beat the visiting Carrollton Trojans by a score of 28-14, with Colton Neff running for over 20 carries and 100 yards on the night from the fullback position, while Chanse Houghton and Travis Leeper provided spark from halfback.

Carrollton opened the scoring with 8:36 to go in the first quarter, as junior quarterback Luke Wozny scored on a 4-yard cutback run, and hit the ensuing extra point. Trenton controlled the next possession, taking the ball right down the field, and with less than a minute to go in the quarter, sitting at the Trojan 1. The game remain tied after a scoreless second quarter, with the teams hitting the locker room knotted at 7.

In the third quarter, Carrollton scored first, as Keaton Sullivan plunged into the end zone from 1 yard, making it 14-7 Trojans with 5:56 to go in the quarter. Trenton, in need of a big play to steal back the momentum, found it from a senior standout:

After Chanse Houghton suffered leg cramps, sophomore Travis Leeper joined classmate Colton Neff in the backfield for the majority of the fourth quarter, with the youthful Bulldog tandem eventually wearing down the Trojans defense with their relentless attack. Leeper gave the Bulldogs the lead for good late in the third quarter with a 3 yard scoring run. On back-to-back runs late in the fourth, the two put away Carrollton for good:

Trenton heads to Lexington for a Friday night battle with the Minutemen next Friday night, feeling they owe that team a bit of payback for a disappointing home loss in 2012's Week #2:
