A variety of cases were heard, along with some cases dismissed by the prosecution.
22-year old Brandy Lewis of Trenton admitted violating her probation. The probation was revoked and an original 60 day jail sentence was reinstated. That sentence had been on hold while she was on probation. Judge Steve Hudson gave Ms. Lewis credit for already serving 12 of the 60 days. The remainder of the sentence is to be served beginning September 13th. Three days later, Lewis is to be furloughed to inpatient treatment, providing her own transportation. She's to receive jail credit during the inpatient treatment.
Lewis was on probation on a charge accusing her with misdemeanor domestic assault in January of 2011.
37-year old Angielee Byron of Trenton pleaded guilty to a charge accusing her with misdemeanor first degree trespassing at the Grundy County Detention Center August 6th. Ms. Byron was sentenced to seven days in the detention center with credit given for time served. A fine and court costs total 216 dollars. A plea agreement was involved.
35-year old Roger Farris of Trenton waived a preliminary hearing and was bound over to division one of Grundy County Circuit Court on charges accusing him with possessing methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia to introduce meth into the human body in July of this year.
Charges accusing Farris with displaying plates of another person and failure to register a motor vehicle annually with the department of revenue were certified to be heard in
Division one of circuit court.
29-year old Mark Lundy Junior of Trenton waived preliminary hearings in associate division and was bound over to division one on charges accusing him with check forgery and passing numerous bad checks in 2011.
Trenton resident Michelle Harding waived a preliminary hearing and was bound over to division one Of circuit court on a charge accusing her with passing numerous bad checks in 2011. A misdemeanor charge accusing Harding with passing four bad checks in 2010 and 2011 was certified to be heard in division one of circuit court.
Charges accusing 39-year old Erik Wattenburger of rural Trenton with unlawful possession of a firearm, 18-year old Shelby Dempsay of Trenton with felony attempted second degree burglary and misdemeanor receiving stolen property, and 29-year old Andrew Ramer of Trenton with misdemeanor third degree assault were all dismissed by the prosecution.
