News : Pickup Stolen Near Kingston, Possible Brian Adkison Connection

Authorities are reporting a pickup stolen near the city of Kingston in Caldwell county may be linked to the escape of Brian Adkison late Saturday night.

Authorities report that a 2000 Ford F-350 pickup with dual wheels was stolen early Sunday morning. The pickup is described as having a crease in the drivers side door, with a DPMS sticker bearing a tigers head on the back drivers side window. A diamond plated after market fuel tank in the bed of the pickup is also listed in the description of the vehicle.

The pickup is said to have 2013 Missouri plates, with a tag number of 44A-0WT.

Authorities report that the keys had been left in the vehicle, along with the vehicle owners check book.

Adkison is 6' tall, 180 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

He is charged in Caldwell County with kidnapping 23 year-old Lauren Crawford of Hamilton, inflicting injury and terrorizing her before dropping her off at a Columbia hospital. He also was charged in Boone County with first-degree burglary, rape and deviate sexual assault.

Adkison was captured in central Missouri after eluding officers for several days.
