News : Sullivan County Health Department Offers T-DAP And CPR

Sullivan county health department at Milan has announced information on C-P-R classes and T-DAP clinics.

Registered nurse Lisa McClaran from the Sullivan county health department will teach the C-P-R class on August 14th at the office, 101 Hawthorne Drive, in Milan.

From 3 until 5 o'clock, the class focuses on basic life support. From 5 until 7 o'clock, first aid will be the topic. The cost is 35 dollars for the basic life support class. First aid classes are available upon request for an additional cost of 15 dollars per person. Class size is limited. Persons can register by calling the Sullivan county health department at 660-265 4141.

Three locations on different dates and varied times have been announced for clinics this month to administer the free T-DAP vaccine to Sullivan County residents. That's tetanus, diptheria, pertussis, and whooping cough.

Tuesday August 13th, the T-DAP clinic is at Green City R-1 school from 5 to 6 pm

Wednesday August 14th, there's a T-DAP clinic at the Milan C-2 school from 9 o'clock until 2:30.

On Monday August 19th, a T-DAP clinic is to be held at the Newtown Harris school from 5 o'clock until 6:30 pm.
