Several cases were heard last Friday in Division One of Grundy County Circuit Court.
66 year old Lowry Van Hoozer of Trenton was sentenced to five years with the department of
corrections. Execution of sentence was suspended and he was placed on five years probation and required to obtain sex offender evaluation. Van Hoozer pleaded guilty to being a sex offender within 500 feet of Moberly Park, its' playground, or swimming pool in Trenton.
26 year old Stacy Wilson of Trenton pleaded guilty to forgery charges. Imposition of sentence
was suspended and she received five years probation. Requirements including making full restitutionand serving ten days shock incarceration at her expense in the Grundy County Detention Center.
35 year old Heather Marshall of Trenton received five years probation after imposition of
sentence was suspended. She pleaded guilty last month to felony charges of forgery and stealing.
31 year old Alyssa Miller of Chillicothe pleads guilty to two counts of receiving stolen property.
Imposition of sentence was suspended and she was placed on five years probation.
38 year old Rebecca Gamble of Trenton pleaded guilty to felony stealing. She was placed on five years of probation after imposition of sentence was suspended.
40 year old Rhonda Boggs of Trenton pleaded guilty Friday to charges of second degree
burglary and criminal non support. Sentencing in the circuit court is scheduled September 12th.
18 year old Nickolas Pipes of Laredo saw his probation continued but was ordered to serve
two weekends in jail at his expenses. He's on probation following burglary charges.
Probation was continued for 26 year old Jeremy Hamilton of Trenton with the additional
requirement to serve five days of shock time in jail at the defendants' expense. Hamilton is on
probation for operating a motor vehicle while his driver's license was revoked.
St. Peters resident Dewayne Glenn is charged with criminal non-support and requested a jury trial. That trial in Grundy County Circuit Court was set for January 10th.
