News : Summer Reading Program At Jewett Norris Library

Three childrens' program are on this week schedule for the summer reading program at the Grundy county Jewett Norris library. Two presentations are Wednesday morning and one is Thursday afternoon.

According to the library, there's a children's program at 9:30 Wednesday morning for children UP to two years of age. Then, Courtney Deaver will represent Crowder State Park in a 10 o'clock Wednesday morning program about worms. It's aimed at children three years of age or in pre-school.

Grundy county conservation agent Jeff Berti presents an 11 o'clock program on
Wednesday concerning “animals that dig.” This is designed for youth from kindergarten through the 2nd grade. Berti returns to the Jewett Norris library for a 2 o'clock presentation on Thursday afternoon for pupils from third to the sixth grade.

The library has a regular program is at 2 o'clock on Friday for 7th to 12th graders.
