She will be traveling with fellow teammates to Rock Springs, Wyoming July 12th to 20th to compete at the 65th Annual National High School Finals Rodeo.

Miranda Mammen participates in the Pole Bending competition.

Featuring over 1,500 contestants from 41 states, five Canadian Provinces, and Australia, the National High School Finals is the world’s largest rodeo.  In addition to competing for over
$200,000 in prizes, contestants also compete for more than $350,000 in college scholarships and the chance to be named the National High School Rodeo National Champion.

To earn this title, contestants must finish in the top 20 after two Go-Rounds before advancing
to the Saturday night final championship performance.

Miranda is the daughter of Terry and Jackie Mammen.   Grandparents are Larry and Karen Jones of Wheeling, and Sandy Mammen of Chillicothe.
