The Livingston County Sheriff has been busy with a variety of calls. The office also reports on arrests.

These are the activities, as reported by a press release from the office of the Livingston County Sheriff.

Incidents:

On the morning of June 13 we responded to a location along Highway 190 on a complaint of domestic violence. Investigation shows no evidence of any abuse and the female was given a ride to Hedrick Medical Center for unrelated reasons. Outside sources for assistance were given.

June 13 we began an investigation of theft, property damage, and tampering with motor vehicles after it was discovered unknown persons have removed radiators, batteries and other items from several vehicles and farm machines. These items were obviously stolen for scrap salvage. Investigation continues.

A local resident reported recently being contacted after posting an item for sale on the Internet. The person contacting our resident sent a forged check to be cashed and was allegedly making plans to pickup the property. The bank informed the citizen the check was of no value. Fortunately no one was out any money. This type of scam the buyer usually asks the intended victim to wire back any extra money.

An allegation of abuse from a person now in the Department of Corrections about their treatment in the Daviess Dekalb County Regional Jail was investigated and evidence was collected via recorded video and telephone in addition to statements from other people present supports no violation took place. A copy of the documents and evidence has been shared with our office and the Missouri Department of Corrections.

Identity theft can hit anyone as this month one of our deputies learned that someone had obtained their personal information and opened a credit card in the State of Georgia. Information and cooperation has been provided to the investigating credit company and respective authorities.

We are investigating a reported theft of 4 chrome wheels and tires from a location on Liv 330 in the south east part of Livingston County.

On June 04 we assisted the Chillicothe Police with an investigation that led to a rural address and a search of a residence with consent took place. All evidence obtained was given to the Chillicothe PD Officer.

June 05 we investigated a domestic disturbance without injury at a location in Utica. That investigation has resulted in a report being generated for the prosecuting attorney to review for consideration of any charges.

Arrests:

On June 12 we served a Livingston County arrest warrant on Katelan Marie Chase, 20, Chillicothe for alleged Failure to Appear in Court on original charge of class C felony Theft/Stealing and class A misdemeanor of Endangering the Welfare of a Child in 2nd Degree. Bond was set at $10,000 cash. Ms. Chase was transferred to the Daviess Dekalb County Regional Jail.

June 11 we completed an investigation of a stolen firearm and arrested Aaron Patrick Dryer, 35, and a Livingston County arrest warrant was subsequently served for alleged Theft/Stealing of a Firearm a class C felony. Mr. Dryer was transferred to jail in lieu of bond.

June 11 we served a Livingston County arrest warrant on Christina Michelle Clemons, 26, Chillicothe for alleged Probation Violation on an original charge of class C felony Theft/Stealing of any Credit Card or Letter of Credit.

June 11 we served a Livingston County arrest warrant on Jante Glasgow, 20, Chillicothe for alleged Bond Supervision Violation on original charges of class C felony Possession of a Controlled Substance. Mr. Glasgow was transferred to the Daviess Dekalb County Regional Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bond.

June 13 we served a Saline County arrest warrant on Charles Albert Ricklin, 17, Nelson, MO for alleged class C felony Stealing a Motor Vehicle, class D felony Attempted Burglary 2nd Degree, and class D felony Possession of Burglary tools, bond was set at $10,000. Mr. Ricklin was turned over to the Saline County Sheriff.

June 13 we served a Livingston County arrest warrant on Nannette Colleen Alexander, 40, Chillicothe, for alleged Failure to Appear in Court on an original charge of Operating a Motor Vehicle without a Valid Drivers License. Ms. Alexander later posted the $250 bond.

June 07 we served a Livingston County arrest warrant on Robin Swanson, 36, Chillicothe, for alleged probation violation on an original charge of Trespassing 1st degree.

June 07 we checked on a man walking in traffic on U.S. 65 north of Chillicothe and subsequently arrested Terry Wavern Leo Jones, 18, Trenton, for alleged possession of drug paraphernalia-crack pipe. Mr. Jones was taken to the LCSO where he was processed and assisted with getting to Grundy County.

MOST WANTED ARRESTS:

On June 13 2 of our MOST WANTED Fugitives were arrested.

Officials in El Dorado Springs arrested Erin L. Graves, 34, on a Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged Aggravated Stalking-1st Offense.

Authorities in Greene County Missouri arrested Travis L. Sparling, 39, Springfield, on a Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged 2nd degree burglary and felony theft/stealing. This is part of the alleged recent Robbery at a Chillicothe business.

Both men will be extradited to Livingston County at the earliest opportunity.
